A topaz bead of intoxicating light blue is subtly capped by a semi-swirled 18k white gold top, shaped as an attractive, sculptural closing wing, lavishly pavé-set with diamonds. An extremely slender, feminine cylindrical 18k white gold string, functioning as an ode to sensual fluidity, connects the flowing topaz bead below to the Egyptian wing-inspired amulet with an 18k white gold contour, on which 5 enamel stripes show deep blue tones, rippling across the metal suture from side-to-side, forming a bed of blue that closely intimates the famous ancient Egyptian blue faience. The border of each blue enamel evokes the grooved incision on the wing amulet, originally symbolising the feathers. The arched groove, deeply engraved among the radiating feathered incisions, is now interpreted by the arched 18k white gold spine embedded with continuous alternating diamonds and black diamonds. An oval-cut topaz with its attractive London-blue hue, set on the dropping edge of the wing-shaped frame, has geometric gems, arranged in a diagonal line, including a pear-cut aquamarine, triangular-shaped black diamond and an oval deep blue sapphire.
