 Decoding The Akkadian Collection

             This collection is Miss Hui Di Li’s love letter dedicated to the oldest form of writing in the world, cuneiform, originating in the land of ancient Mesopotamia around ca.3200 BC.

                 The waged shapes of each cuneiform character, originally scribed on both clay tablets and stone materials, are now magically adapted to masterly executed contemporary jewellery pieces, alluring sparkles and mysterious charm to reveal the beauty of world’s earliest written literature.

                               Akkadian and Sumerian are two distinctive written conventions for cuneiform. Beautiful lines inscribed on authentic historic materials, either dedicated to Mesopotamian deities or secular rulers, are the inspiration where the designs imaginatively drawn.

                                 Each 18k gold spikes, luxuriously embellished with pavé diamonds and rainbow sapphires, are made in exact forms of how the ancient cuneiform characters were waged and shaped in the remote past.
